EMR Hashtag ( Flower of Alliance x EMR Shooting Star) 2016, 16’2 hand, Gelding

From Hashtag’s owner Emily

I just have to thank you again for the opportunity to have this amazing horse. Not only is he exceptionally talented for dressage, but he has the best, most honest heart. He tries every single day to do a great job and his only frustration is if he feels he’s not “getting it.” Even though he’s so big (16.2!), he loves little kids and can’t help but wander over to meet any who visit the barn. He’s steady and calm and is happy to ride through a test with Navy jets flying above at Whidbey. And, I can load him up and take him to shows by myself with my mom and compete with “the big boys” - it doesn’t get more amateur friendly than that. Thank you so much!

Sandee and EMR Ebony Aire

“My heart still melts when I see the Big Guy raise his head when he hears or sees me. Even more so when he greets me with those soft eyes and wants to come partner with me for the day (or maybe its just to get some carrots) LOL But what a blessing this unexpected horse journey has been.” Sandee

Erin and Clooney

“The whole barn community has been incredibly supportive as I’ve figured out what it actually means to own my first horse. Sally sat down with me and went over all the things I should consider, from the day-to-day responsibilities to average expenses and all the things I hadn’t even thought to ask about yet. Ashley Noonen tried her hardest to set me up with everything she could find secondhand, including a bridle and saddle, although of course neither ended up fitting Clooney. It was just one example of how willing everyone was to help me figure things out.” Erin

Erin Shields

Erin has used Moana Lariat and Moana Nike as her foundation mare in her breeding program. She is crossing them with her stallion, Promise Garnet Star.
